This year, for the first time, we are opening pre-orders for our plus-size menstrual swim bottoms, which always attract a lot of interest. The larger sizes – from 2XL up to 13XL – are particularly popular. We keep only a small stock, and even those few pieces sell out quickly, so it’s worth placing your order early if you want to secure the right size for the summer.
A little background info: the production of our menstrual swim bottoms is scheduled every year from February to June, during which we prepare the next summer’s collection. The fabrics are ordered at the beginning of the year, and we work with what we have until it runs out. This ensures that we are well-prepared for the summer in terms of stock and that you can get your desired size at the best possible price.
It’s important to know that a plus-size menstrual swim bottom is not just “one size bigger”:
- It requires significantly more fabric,
- There is greater material waste during cutting,
- It takes more time to sew,
- A separate pattern is needed → additional time,
- And if it’s not a pre-order → the fabrics for the swim bottom must often be ordered in small quantities from up to three different suppliers, including international orders (which is not cost-effective, even just considering shipping costs).
This is not a mass-produced item, but a custom-made product.
That’s why it’s very important that pre-orders placed by January 25 are included in the production batch.
If someone wants to order after January 25, or requests a single piece outside the scheduled production period, of course, it’s possible – but it can only be done with a significant additional charge, as the materials must be sourced separately and custom production costs are much higher.
